Great for adults and kids. The minimum age is 8 years. Kids between 8–11 years will require a participating adult on the team. Some children may perceive the cells as scary due to lighting and sound effects.

Team up to tackle tricky challenges in different cells. The challenges test your problem-solving skills, teamwork and agility. To earn points, you must complete each task within a set time, which varies from 1.5 to 5 minutes depending on the cell.

Prison Island is designed for a minimum of two participants, and the ultimate team experience is usually 3–5 people. Whether you team up with a friend, a family member or another visitor, you need at least two people to play.

Prison Island is a unique game with a reception, a café and 35 game cells. It is often confused with an escape room, but it is completely different!

In an escape room you usually have one hour to solve a single scenario. At Prison Island Riyadh there is a much larger game area with 35 cells and 35 different tasks (physical, technical and mental), and you build your own route, completing and repeating tasks in the time you choose.

With your team, you try to solve as many cells as possible within your chosen time. You choose the order of the cells, and you can even repeat them.

Collect as many points as possible! Each successful task earns 25 to 100 points. Follow your ranking live on the big screens at reception and in the game area, and compete against the teams of the day, the week and of all time. Be the best!

No! The challenges are designed for everyone. The variety of tasks and the teamwork concept let everyone take part according to their abilities. If a cell doesn’t suit you, simply move on to the next one without stopping your team from scoring points.

Prison Island is suitable for everyone. The minimum age is 8 years. Children aged 8–11 must have an adult (18+) on their team, not only for safety reasons, but also to help them understand the challenges and enjoy the realistic prison setting.

There are lockers where you can leave your belongings. We recommend that you do not bring valuables or large items. Food and drink are not allowed inside the game. Phones are allowed inside the game, but we are not responsible for any breakage or loss.

Most of the tasks and parts of the game area are not optimised for wheelchair access (stairs, decorations…). The reception and the café are accessible.

To make the experience available to everyone, our team will do its best to find a suitable solution, and in many cases we have adapted the game so that everyone can have a great time.

Yes, you can take photos in the cells, but please make sure you have permission from everyone who appears in them.

When you arrive, you choose the duration of your game, from 1 to 3 hours. Allow about 15 minutes for registration and the team briefing.

Teams can be formed of 2 to 5 players, but 3–4 players is best so everyone takes an active part in the game.

Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your game time. This gives us time to welcome you, register your teams, store your belongings in the lockers and give you the briefing. Can’t wait? Start thinking about a team name!

With 35 cells, you need time to explore the prison, understand the tasks and solve them. As a guide, teams solve around 15 cells in 1 hour, and a 2-hour game usually gives you time to experience all the cells. The 3-hour game is the best option: no rush, and you can repeat cells to improve your score.

Comfortable clothing for light physical activity (trainers, comfortable trousers and a t-shirt) is ideal. High heels are not allowed and large shoes are not recommended.
